Tyler attended Berryville High School and the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts in Hot Springs, Arkansas. After graduation, Tyler studied American Political Studies at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2012. Tyler received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in May 2015. Tyler was licensed to practice in Oklahoma in September 2015 and in Arkansas in April 2016.

Prior to forming Allen Squires Law, PLLC, Tyler worked as a fellow at the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative at the University of Arkansas School of Law and as a paralegal for the Law Office of R. Dawn Allen.

Tyler is a member of the Berryville Lions Club and the Berryville Library Advisory Board. He lives in Berryville with his wife Emily, daughter Elsie and dog, Sunny.
